How to submit

Submission in three steps

Prepare your abstract in English, on original research within one of the conference thematic areas.
Send it by e-mail to pesh2026.abstracts@gmail.com before the deadline.
Wait for the review decision. Following the review process, authors will be notified of the decision regarding the acceptance of their submitted abstracts. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.

How the abstract must be prepared

Please follow every requirement below. Consistent formatting helps the scientific committee review and prepare accepted abstracts for publication.

File format and template

Prepare the abstract in the official Word template and send it as a .docx file.

Page: A4, margins 2.5 cm on all sides
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
Line spacing: single
File name: Surname_Name_RPESH2026.docx

Maximum length

The Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusion sections together must not exceed 250 words.

The title, author names, institutional affiliations, keywords and thematic area are not counted towards this limit.

Required abstract structure

The abstract must contain the following four sections:

Purpose
Methods
Results
Conclusion

Add three to five keywords below the Conclusion, separated by semicolons.

Character formatting

Standard scientific symbols are welcome, including Greek letters (α, η, χ), ±, ° and subscripts such as VO₂max.

Please turn off automatic smart quotes and avoid hidden or non-standard characters carried over when text is copied between programs.

No tables or graphs

Tables, figures, charts and graphs must not be included in the abstract submission.

Abbreviations and references

Keep abbreviations to a minimum and do not include reference citations in the abstract.

Physical activity and fitness, physical and health education, active schools, sedentary behaviour, screen time, sleep, quality of life, sports nutrition.

Sports Performance and Rehabilitation

Performance, training and diagnostics, motor control and motor learning, sports injuries, rehabilitation and return to sport.

Psychological, Educational, and Social Perspectives

Psychological, sociological and pedagogical aspects, history of physical education and sport, management, marketing and media, recreation and tourism.

Technology and Research Methods

New technologies and contemporary methods in sport science, innovative research approaches.

After the conference

Full papers

Full paper submission deadline: 25 November 2026

Full papers must be prepared in accordance with the author guidelines of the journal Research in Physical Education, Sport and Health. All submitted papers will undergo a standard peer-review process, after which authors will be notified of the Editorial Board’s decision.
